About the lesson
The purpose of this instructional module is to provide educators with an overview of Arts integration while emphasizing the importance of utilizing the arts in a classroom setting. The lesson is intended for educators who are interested in integrating the arts in their classroom. This module is also created to inform educators about the beneficial factors that can result from implementing the arts. Educators will be able to use this module as an introductory course to begin implementing the arts in their instruction.
Lesson Goals & objectives
1. I can define Arts Integration my own words based off of the knowledge I have gained.
2. I can identify Constructivist practices that align with Arts integration practices.
3. I can make connections to my current or former classroom practices for future implementation.
4. I can identify one or more Arts approaches that can be used to integrate the arts.
5. I can plan and determine best art practices for students to use for understanding in various content areas.
